  This issue is getting worse everyday. We have had to implement a new policy for our employees to leave our building to go to their cars which includes leaving together because they do not feel safe in the area because of what's going on in the area.

  This happens in oakland all over the city. Driving up Broadway thee days feels like a war zone. The only normal looking corner between Jack London and Kaiser is the well kept church at 26th and Broadway.

  I saw that Caltrans and CHP were clearing the nightmare encampment at Santa Clara and MacArthur Blvd. They had filled 10 large trucks and had more to go. They have been trying to clear and fence the site for years and being fought the whole time by the City of Oakland and the ACLU.
