Contractor Blocking Street/Sidewalk/Parking Acknowledged165 13th St Oakland CA 94612, United States - Civic CenterThe Post office vehicles are causing blind spots throughout the block (garage entrances) by parking in red zones near the exits/entrances. I have witnessed numerous pedestrians and/or students almost getting hit near the garage because a postal van has created a "blind spot" to the driveway. It is only a matter of time before someone is struck by a vehicle because a car has to quickly enter the garage because of oncoming traffic. Maybe placing glued-down cones near all the entrances will prevent large postal vans from parking in the red zones?

Traffic Safety (non-emergency) Archived630 Thomas L Berkley Way Oakland 94612, United States - San Pablo Gateway“Keep Clear” area needs repainting. Emergency vehicles need access to SSA building where every minute counts. Drivers tend to block access by parking in deteriorated red zones and damaged KEEP CLEAR area. I have personally seen too many near collisions and/or blocking of the driveway.

Traffic Safety (non-emergency) Archived1200-1298 Jackson St Oakland, CA, 94612, USA - Civic CenterThe entrance at the Alco Park garage needs safety cones as mail trucks are parking in red zones and causing a safety hazard (blind spot) for children walking to/from school. Drivers have almost struck children because the mail trucks are blocking sidewalk views near an entrance/exit. Cones into the floor (like the ones located at the City center garage) might prevent the mail trucks from parking there and causing an accident. A repaint of the red curb is also in need.
