Yeah, I don't see how just ignoring this makes sense. Does this mean every business can just take over their sidewalk? What is the point of a sideWALK then?
I get that they are a legit business, and they're in a tough spot, but could they train in some of the mostly empty parking lots that the city owns, like the lot behind city hall? School parking lots? Parks? I feel like there's some compromises that exist that that city can help come up with that doesn't involve moms and strollers being forced to walk into the street....
