The lack of street lights on Cedar Lane between Owen Brown Road and Hickory Ridge Road has also been a hazard for many years, especially when pedestrians walk in the street and the deer who are fearless. There have also been many homes and cars broken into which I feel is due to the lack of lighting. Cedar Acres HOA contacted the county several years ago with a request to add street lights as well as adequate lighting to the few lights that are currently on Cedar Lane between the two intersections as they are "motion" sensored but was denied.
