Bissonette have even put in parking lines and this guy still does this all the time nd revs his awful engine for the whole neighbor to hear. I wish he would move far far away
And, presumably, as the scofflaw(s) know(s) code enforcement may be active M-F, the barrier remained in place and no lawn parking occurred over Sunday night into Monday (photo attached). The larger issue is the ongoing zoning code violation perpetuated by the property owner(s) who permit parking outside of area designated by giving full access to lawn parking to the tenants who then choose to park there.
Hi everyone,
We are working closely with the owner of this building to get in touch with the vehicle owner. As noted, we have gone forward and painted lines to help ease parking here, and currently working on moving the tenant from the property. We absolutely do not allow lawn parking, and have altered our leases to confirm so. If there are parking violations and noise complaints after hours, please contact the police department to have them fully addressed while we complete work on our end to hopefully reach a resolution to this issue.
The property owner is attempting to resolve the issue as it appears to be a single individual who seems not to respect the chain or lines. Code Enforcement will continue to monitor.
Oh man our whole neighborhood would celebrate if this guy gets kicked out of the complex - I hope I was reading this correctly and that they're working on removing the tenant from the property.
I assert that the property owner, or (their) representative, has conveyed the means of lowering the barrier to the individual who parks on the lawn and enables others to as well. So who's to blame? As it is the LLC of Bissonette Properties who is responsible for maintaining the barrier for snow removal, as part of a remedy to the original zoning violation, the responsibility for correction lies with it along with zoning enforcement, not fellow tenants, and not the police. From my experience and that of neighbors and others, the police show little to no interest in ticketing vehicles parked on lawns:
""Burlington PD came to kick them out of the no parking area. So now there are even more cars parked on the grass. I guess Burlington PD doesn't care about that ordinance?!?!" from:
I have reached out to the tenant in question here to remind them not to park on the grass. The tenant who normally parked there, the black truck, has moved. The barrier will more than likely be kept down until after this weekend storm comes through (if there is a parking ban in place, yard parking is allowed and we would love to give tenants to opportunity to use it and then move their cars the next day). I will talk to the gentleman who has taken over plowing and ask him to replace the barrier after he plows if there is no parking ban.
Also, if you are a tenant, please feel free to contact us directly when this happens! We are able to remedy this more quickly if we receive a call. The area you have taken a photo from is completely fenced off and rather far back in the lot, so if you are not a tenant we ask that you do not access the property for the safety of our tenants. You can also feel free to give us a call at 802.864.1774 for a quicker action. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
"The tenant who normally parked there, the black truck, has moved."
Is the "tenant who normally parked there the black truck...", still in the employ of Bissonette Properties or any of its related, manifold legal entities?
I just caught wind of this again - chain has been restored. I have put a reminder on our tracking for plowing to restore the chain after all plowing (and include a lock so no tenants can remove it), no matter if there is a parking ban or not, to prevent further issues. As we have repaired the short term issue and created a long term plan to prevent further issues, if code enforcement could close this we would appreciate it.
Thanks, Cara. We appreciate your long-needed assistance. I was able to ascertain from the Burlington Police Department that "The tenant who normally parked there, the black truck, ...", (A.C.) who was in the habit of unlocking the existing lock in order to facilitate illegal parking, represented himself to an officer as an EMPLOYEE of Bissonette Properties. Before we close this out, which I would be very pleased to support, I'll like a confirmation or denial for the record that this person was, in fact, not JUST a tenant, but in fact was or is an EMPLOYEE of Bissonette Properties. Then let's put this thread behind us. Thanks, again!
None of the employees in the office own a truck. I apologize I don't have any more information than that! If you need help getting in touch with the owner for more information on hiring and staff, feel free to reach out to the office and we can pass along the word to him.
Hey Cara--Thanks for your reply. I'll let you do your job and help us with some progress on this, although, if it doesn't include clarifying tenancy versus employment, I'd gladly let you consider this my "reach out to the office" for you to get in touch with the owner and have HIM (or authorize you to) clarify it here for all of us following this. Here's a photo Google kindly took of the same truck, "the tenant who normally parked there, the black truck," pulling out of your office parking lot. I thought it might jog your or the owner's memory a bit regarding employment status. Of course, if he's still an employee, that might not be necessary. For the record, let's get the answer to whether or not this "tenant" has been working for Bissonette Properties all along and promoting the illegal parking so we can close this out and put this issue behind us at last with the lawn restored and parking restricted. I'd even wager Code Enforcement would celebrate along with all the rest of us!
He is a tenant with us, yes - and does need to pay rent, which, if done by cash or check to cover months at a time, must be done at the office. Also, there is another business in our office's We have seen him in the office doing so in the past. The reason I ask you to reach out to the owner directly is because we do not have full knowledge of whom the owner decides to use for other jobs, for example if he uses contractors or outside businesses.
With how you've reacted to my response, I am guessing you may have a negative relationship with the owner of the business, and this is something you will need to discuss with him. The issue here has been taken care of, and no further communication will be made. I apologize again that I cannot provide more clear answers.

Cara--Thanks for providing "more information" and for getting in touch with the owner. I guess you're right--we
will, alas, have to wait for HIS reply here as to the employment status of this "tenant who normally parked there,
the black truck "(A.C.). I do appreciate that, as HIS employee, you must follow HIS direction and bet I speak for
many of us following here that we don't blame you personally for your tortuous posts. And likewise, some of us
remain curious if "the tenant who normally parked there, the black truck" (A.C.) was likewise, as HIS employee,
just following HIS direction regarding parking outside the zoned area.
