I too have asked the county to inspect and move for a solution for our storm water drainage issue; it has been over two years since the initial concern created, the problem continues to worsen and now there are two sink holes on our street.
I would also make your HOA aware, they may have been the ones responsible for the paving and it may be under a contractual agreement for repairs and grievances.

Jim B. Investigated 3/29/19. I did not observe any erosion in the public right of Way. I inspected the drain at the end of the court and it is in need of repairs. SeeClickFix 5611820 was created to address the repair. While observing the inlet, it appears the pipe may be reaching its life expectancy. I need to follow- up with the County Real Estate Services in locating any County easement. SeeClickFix 5611848 addresses that issue fr follow-up. I noticed a small broken section of asphalt curbing, SeeClickFix 5611868 was created to address that issue.

I did not observe any sinkholes but thought this was the area that f concern that may have already been addressed? 3/29/19

View of the drain and topography . It appears residents are placing brush on top of the drain. This could eventually find its way into the system, creating a blockage. I would advise against this type in f pracctice to keep the drain free of obstruction. Jim B. 3/29/19

I will be closing this request out within the next five business days, unless I hear from the two residents that created the work order. I did meet with a different resident who approached me while on site. The resident did understand the issue that was originally generated for this request. Mr. Barker thanks for finally looking into this issue. The issue has not been properly understood and should not be closed. We live at the bottom of the court and we are the ones who are getting most impacted by the issue. We have left you a voicemail at your desk today and hope to hear from you soon.

NGK, I reviewed the video and observed the water was following the path to the drain. There is not a date on the video, to review the amount of rainfall we received. It appears this was a very heavy rain event and the rain followed the path to the drain. I took a look at the topography for the area and have attached that here. Water will run downhill to the low points. I have circled the points to give you a visual. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Regards Jim B.

This issue has not been addressed. The raised asphalt curb that was created when the roads were resurfaced is not tall enough to route the water appropriately to the drain inlet. It pushes the water into our yard instead. And this is not only with a heavy rain event. The slightest bit of rain has water coming into our yard from the street.

Dear user NKG; the video I watched, showed the water following the curb line to the drain. The issue is the amount of water or type of rainfall we received. During periods of heavy rainfall, example an inch an hour, the County can experience some brief drainage issues. I did not observe actual flooding in the video. There was a lot of drainage water and the system seemed to handle the water as designed. Regards Jim
