Please note that when considering the possibility of a traffic signal at a given location, we are required to follow the guidelines set forth in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The MUTCD, a Federal Highway Administration document that is used nationally and adopted by Maryland and its jurisdictions, outlines minimum requirements to ensure that traffic signals are used where they are found to be justified through a comprehensive and objective analysis. A traffic count will be tasked to initiate analysis.

Just checking into the status of the study. I did see a vehicle at the intersection a few months ago with "RJM" on it, which seems to be some type of traffic company. It looks like they were out there at least during the AM and PM rush hours, not sure about in-between. Is the study any closer to completion?
