The city issued a press release reporting that the Posey Tube will be closed at night on Thursdays until the end of August. That is incorrect. According to Caltrans, the Posey Tube will be closed 5 nights a week between now and the end of August--Sunday through Thursday of each week. The only nights without a closure are Friday and Saturday of each week. Please get in touch with the contact person on your press release to confirm this information. He said he had contacted Alameda to provide corrected information but no changes have been made to the press release.
