This standing water issue is also happening on the new side path on Glen Lennox Dr, suggesting a more systemic problem in how our ped/bike facilities are being designed. The designs do not appear to have included any form of drainage, making the facilities useless in/after a rain...and treacherous after a freeze!!

I have visited the site immediately after a rain event and it appears to drain, however slow due to the shallowness of the sidewalk cross slope. The sidewalk was constructed to drain from either end to a low point in the middle, through an opening in the curb and into the gutter and a curb inlet on the side of the walk away from the street.
