Yes, there's a family that uses the school bus stop on 4th Ave at the park and live directly across from N Main Park and they either have to sprint across N Main or go the very long way around.
Also, many people going to & from the Distillery cross here.
I have a front row seat for this intersection and see people sprinting across all day long. I've emailed the City about this in the past. Because N Main belongs to MDOT (a state agency) the City can't make the change itself but it's also not clear they believe it's necessary. Convincing City staff it's an essential improvement will help make the case for MDOT to fix this or for the City to do so if they take control of this street from MDOT.
