Someone in Haymaker's kitchen keeps emptying the grease from their fryer into the alley storm drain on Monday mornings. It has happened three weeks a row! It stinks and is very gross. There is a grease receptacle right the by their kitchen door but for some reason it keeps being put in the alley drain.
I live right next to this drain and it is very offensive. Please help!

Need a pedestrian crosswalk across main at Felch.
  • 512 Spring Street Ann Arbor Michigan - Ann Arbor
Yard completely overgrown and filled with abandoned appliances and building signs. Structure of house appears to be in significant disrepair and in violation of local housing codes.
  • 213 W. Kingsley Street Ann Arbor Michigan - Ann Arbor

The painting crew at 213 West Kingsley Street condo project has paint that is dumping into the street headed to the storm outlet.

Also, they're working on a Sunday and I thought the ordinance did not allow for construction work on Sundays.

  • 100 N. Ashley Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
Valet Parking deliberately parking cars to block bike lane.
Observed doing same thing on multiple days.
  • 500-504 Hiscock Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor

This intersection, with no stop signs in the North/South directions, desperately either needs signage on the East/West stop signs indicating that oncoming traffic does not stop or stop signs in the North/South direction.

There are way too many close calls.

People are going into the dilapidated potter's shed. The roof has failed in the front (and in the back) so they are able to pull themselves up , then step down into the shed, using a palette that has been tipped up, inside the shed. Meanwhile, lots of discarded junk has piled up outside this entrance.
  • 408 Felch Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
Another truck hit the bridge again today (6/12). This seems to happen about twice a year. The standard yellow bridge height sign does not get their attention. Aside from the damage to the trucks, each time this happens the city spends a lot of resources (two fire trucks and police vehicle out for several hours today). Why not spend little on a big bright red sign - WARNING LOW BRIDGE! Or hang chains before the bridge on both sides like they do in parking garages.

This place need to be torn down. Dangerous spot for squatters
  • 200 West Kingsley Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
I previously reported that this intersection needed crosswalk painting last winter. I was told it would be completed in March but there is still no crosswalk. This is a very dangerous intersection for pedestrians that is frequently trafficked and is on desperate need of traffic calming. My own car has been rear ended here and I have a video of many cars running through the intersection at a rate far higher than the posted speed. It's natural for a driver to do this as many drivers come from Plymouth to Broadway to this stretch of Kingsley to get to Miller as they cut through town. The speed limit on Plymouth and Broadway are both much higher and almost no drivers are adjusting their speed. This is compounded by the hill going down in the direction of traffic that makes it very difficult for cars to see pedestrians. And most of the time when they see them they are going to fast to stop. Please repaint this crosswalk and install traffic calming measure and practice targeted enforcement here. This has been going on for a really long time. Thank you.
