Sidewalks Archiviato609 Avery Street Decatur, Georgia - Decatur
The sidewalk at Inman & Avery needs a ramp so wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers can safely traverse the intersection. This issue has been reported multiple times to Hugh Saxton, Michelle Hirose, Shaunn Smith, David Junger, & Courtney Frisch.
To date no action has been taken and communication on future actions recieved. This is a dangerous intersection traversed by many families daily on their way to and from Winnona Park ES, Renfroe MS, & Decatur HS.
Please provide a concrete update on a plan to make this intersection safely traversable for people of all abilities.
Thanks!

Sidewalks ArchiviatoMcdonough Street Cycle Track Decatur, Georgia - DecaturThe construction barrier creates a very unsafe intersection for pedestrians crossing Trinity northbound on McDonough. Pedestrians cannot see cars and vice versa until the pedestrian is in the roadway. A solution would be to remove barrier from the corner, install a transparent barrier, or reopen sidewalk on the south side of Trinity and push the barrier back a few feet. This is an unsafe condition and will be even more so when school is back in session and groups of students are navigating this intersection multiple times per day.

Street Maintenance Archiviato105 E Trinity Pl Decatur, Georgia - DecaturThis is actually on N McDonough but ChickiFila address was closest I could find. A cement median is in the process of being installed at intersection of N McDonough and Trinity. This median will impede the path of Marta buses and emergency vehicles. I ask that you please reconsider this median and leave the pavement as is.

Sidewalks Archiviato271-299 East Trinity Place Decatur, Georgia - DecaturThe curb-cut in front of the Arlo leading to the crosswalk crossing Trinity is blocked by a fire hydrant. The fire hydrant makes maneuvering a wheelchair or stroller impossible at this crosswalk. The fire hydrant needs to be relocated and preferably before the Arlo project is complete.
