I am a special education teacher at Piedmont Avenue Elementary. I park on Pleasant Valley Road because we do not have staff parking. I cross a wooded area between Pleasant Valley and Brandon Street on foot on my way to work. Recently I stepped in a large pile of dog poop there. I no longer cross this area on foot. Today I saw a man exit his house with his dog on a leash, take his dog across the street to relieve itself, and walk back to his house without picking up the mess. He did not respond well when I pointed out his bad behavior. When I stepped in dog poop I tracked it into a public school, which is a health hazard. It was not pleasant. The gentleman's address is 1825 Brandon Street. I would greatly appreciate it if you would please follow up with him and/or address the health hazard at this location. Thank you!
