Deskripsyon

As noted in this pic, the cracks that are at a 90 degree angle to the direction of gravity water flow from rain - which runs from South to North down Francis St towards its intersection with Jay St. The cracks - over the years - have gotten wider and now are forming alligator patterns as well. Some of the cracks, when they were much smaller, have indeed been sealed - as you can see from the pic - but those too have pulled apart and widened to a point that when heavy sheet flows of rainfall approach same, some of the water enters the opening in the pavement and heads beneath the road surface. If you look closely at the pic towards the new driveway at 8 Francis St - the very large cracks that went right into my property, and caused some pretty good frost heave separations - especially last winter, have been reworked and repaved to the tune of $3,000.00 - paid for by yours truly. MY QUESTION IS: BEFORE THE FROST HEAVES OPEN UP THE TRANSVERSE CRACKS THIS WINTER, WHICH BY THE WAY - REPEATS THIS PATTERN UP AND DOWN THE STREET IN NUMEROUS LOCATIONS... CAN SOME TLC BE APPLIED IN THE FORM OF CRACK FILLING MATERIAL IN THE REALLY BAD SPOTS? THE TEMPS ARE STILL AT A POINT WHERE THE MATERIAL WILL CURE - JUST AS LONG AS WE APPLY IT ABOVE 55 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, AND HOPE FOR A LITTLE WARM SPELL TO CURE PROPERLY....Please advise, and THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS MY CONCERNS. JRD.
