Constituent concern reported to me this evening: parking kiosk just ate $5 and wouldn’t give it back or give a ticket. It ran through Self Test a dozen times which did nothing. Spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out and missed the event that she was parking for. Also couldn’t report via website.
Requesting administration look into kiosks that take credit cards. Thank you!

Hello! The Pleasant Street lot kiosks do not accept $5 bills as the lot has a 2 hour max parking limit. The signs on the kiosk states what bills/coins are accepted and the Pleasant Street lot only accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, $1 coins, and $1 bills. Also, the kiosk signs states in two places that no refunds or change are given. The kiosks that are in the 10 hour parking area of town do accept credit cards with a minimum of $5 being charged. Thank you.
