The City needs to complete the job and install the white posts all along just like on the other side. Until then, the cyclist won't be able to ride on that lane. It's too dangerous.

Today. I reported the issue through the WOTS app. attached is the response I got.

Ha ha ha. Typical Jersey City do nothings.

How is that not illegal when there are no parking signs around?

I have received notification that my issue has been outstanding for 60 days. Please provide an update.

The City has since completed a segment of Greene Street and another segment of Washington Blvd toward Columbus. When will the City complete the job on Washington Blvd? It needs to protect the bike lanes. It's too dangerous for bikers without the dividers because they have to veer into traffic.

Please repair this white strip along Washington Blvd in front of 480. Cars and trucks park in the bike lane and damage the bumpers installed there to protect the bikers.

Bike lanes completely removed across all of Washington Blvd and roads have been paved over? Whit delineators stripped out and left on sidewalk?

Well, that’s one way to solve the problem of cars parking in the bike lanes. Just remove the bike lanes. Problem solved.

Even after the repacking cars are still parking in the bike lanes. Is the city actually going to do anything about this?

In 2022, Jersey barriers were installed along the entire length of Washington Boulevard to fully protect the bike lanes from vehicles. The Department will continue to monitor progress and install additional protection, as necessary.

Barriers were NOT installed in this section by the bus stop. All the delineators have been run over. So, don’t just mark something as completed without checking.

Delineators will be replaced by the Department of Public Works/ Division of Buildings and Streets.

All they did was remove them. They were not replaced.

Delineators are on back order, but we will send to the Department of Public works (DPW) to replace, as soon as the next order is in.
