  Who's handing out all these tents, RVs and trailers? These street people are not buying them. This just become's another excuse for them not to go the shelter, cabins and or tuffsheds. All the endless enabling and pandering needs to stop. What ever happened to tuff love and holding these folks accountable.

  If you call OPD and can get though? Request a welfare check as you are concerned about there well being. Then they may come out. Also call 211 for social services and operation dignity 510-287-8465. The last thing they want is socil workers and the police coming by offing help instead of money.

  I’ve called. It’s as pointless as posting here. Oakland is going to lose a bunch of responsible homeowners. I’m getting sick of the crime, the lack of response, the lack of city services, and the complete lack of a plan by the city management.

  Better yet take our elected officials and the director of PWD to small claims for there abuse of power, allow numerous laws, ordinances, statutes and regulations to broken, failing the taxpayers. Couple thousand claims at 10 k a pop. Ouch
