You need to enter it into the Sarasota County system so it can be tracked with a tracking number. All complaints are now being ignored in your system. Noting that it will remain active in see click fix but you refuse to enter it into your system for public tracking.

I'm curious what the process is for see click fix issues. Is there a process for routing the complaints? This particular issue is classified as a request. It is NOT a request, it is a complaint. A legitimate complaint, in my opinion. Is there a process for assigning the issues to the correct department? Is there a supervisor overseeing the issues are assigned to the department that can actually address and resolve the issue?

They have a process but they refuse to enter Nathan Benderson Park complaints into the actual system used by code enforcement. The appropriate person that they refuse to name is going to get back to me soon when I call or email. Soon yes. Yep round file. Probably Randy donated a big gold jewel encrusted round file for them to dump the complaints into. He probably picks them up once a week to dispose of them as he brings lunch for the staff.

Do not close complaint if it does not meet code. You state it will be monitored but has not had any resolution in almost a year. Monitoring for almost a year doesn’t fix it or bring it up to code.
