The signal is under Pinellas County jurisdiction.

So you are saying then the system doesn’t work right?

all the lights on 66th are messed up. So there is always a back up. IF you're on the side streets.. you can forget getting thru the light. 66th st. will cycle 2-3 times before the side streets are allowed to go. The back up on 66th at Park Blvd. is ridiculous! Timing DOES NOT RUN smoothly! And they need to get rid of these "STUPID" "so called Smart lights". People are sick and tired of having to wait 2-3 cycles until enough cars are piled up on the side streets for the lights to change .

Dear sir, My name is David Chase. I am the Transportation and Stormwater Analyst for the City of Pinellas Park which is where your complaint is being directed by SeeClickFix. We are closing the complaint based on: 1. An explanation has been provided to you as to how and why the signals are functioning as they are. 2. We have stated in our response that the signals are under the jurisdiction of Pinellas County Traffic Signal Operations and we have made them aware of your complaint. 3. Based on traffic counts performed annually by the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT) for the intersection of Park Blvd. and 66th St. between 95,000-100,000 vehicles travel through this intersection daily (every 24 hours). Since Jan. 1, 2019, your complaint is one (1) of four (4) we have received about signal timing at this intersection.
