The tree has pushed on the cable and telephone wires to such an extent, that there is a lot of pressure on the adjoining power poles. Since the tree is leaning into the street so dramatically, if it falls and brings down the power poles and lines, a main thoroughfare will be temporarily shut down, and it will create a lot of very avoidable work for Alameda Municipal Power.
