Resident is concerned because there is a large building being constructed on Bergen Avenue at Fairmount Avenue. They are currently working on the sidewalk and have the area blocked off to pedestrians. There are construction vehicles and equipment in the way. Pedestrians are forced to walk out into the traffic on Bergen Avenue to get past. Resident fears that there is no safety measures, no police presence nor crossing guard. She said this has been ongoing.
