Description
The corner of Normandy Drive and Route 40/ Baltimore national pike floods EVERY SINGLE TIME IT RAINS. Attached is a photo documenting the flooding. It is because the rain water runs down Normandy and builds up where it meets 40. This is because the drainage ditch is not sufficient to handle the amount of water. This issue has been on going for years. The drainage ditch needs to be re-engineered with rocks or cement and widened to meet the needs of the community. Additionally, after the flood dries up debris (rocks, sticks, nails and other pieces of metal) are deposited on the roadway.
