Thank you for contacting Pinellas County Animal Services about stray nuisance cats in your area. If you are able to provide an exact address of the person creating a public nuisance we will dispatch an Animal Control Officer out to educate them on county ordinances. Due to the fact that humane traps must be closely monitored for activity, animal services is unable to set and properly monitor them. However, you as a citizen may obtain a humane trap at your local hardware store for around $20.00 and trap the cats if they are coming on your private property. We ask citizens to set the trap at dusk and check it first thing in the morning. If a stray cat is caught, you can contact us as early as 7:00am to schedule a pick up. You do not have to be home when we pick up, you can leave a note on the front door giving us permission and we will remove the cat and leave your trap. The unit owners who are feeding feral (not TNVR) cats are:
Joanne Whitteaker 6678 79th Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL - The rear porch door is left open continiously with food bowls-cats go in and out and stay in a blue container. There is a pregnant female seen recently multicolored and two black cats.

Ms. Mandal at 6689 80th Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL - the rear of her unit by the AC unit-she leave food daily for stray cats. A siamese colored cat and black cats go to the unit daily for food.

Ms. Fogel - 6691 80th Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL- the side (front door) entry to her unit in the mulch area-food is left daily, and her back porch is propped open with water and food for stray cats.

Call MEOW NOW and ask them to trap the colony and Vaccinate, Neuter & Return them - at least they will not be having more babies
