There is a ridiculous amount of prostitution on E 15th street that runs between 17th ave and 23th ave. The prostitutes bring around a lot of grimy people. The neighborhood is down the street from two schools and very close to Garfield Elementary, Franklin and Roosevelt Middle school. At all hours of the day and night, the girls are walking around with very little/no clothing making huge messes in the neighborhood, they make lots of noise, the drive by men who pick these girls up play really loud music and harass the women and children making it unsafe for all the kids and neighbors that live in the area. There are pimps around too which makes it unnerving too. The men that come around to pick up these girls make it very uncomfortable for women and children to live in the neighborhood. Requesting to have more police surveillance and action stationed on E15th Street between 17th ave and 23th ave.

Do we really need to get to the level of needing to inform this kind of situation? This people are doing these actions in the middle of the day. They do not hide at all, total impunity. My street is full of used condoms and needles which is disgusting and I, myself, have to clean them up. Why do we pay taxes? What is the government doing to wipe out this delinquency activity for once and for all. I feel constantly aggravated by this as well as my family members I live with.

This has gotten so much worse in the last few weeks!!! What is the city doing about this??? This neighbordhood literally crawling with prostitution, and there are three schools and Manu children and families here!

I have also reported this problem to the local police numerous times. They take all the information down as if they're going to seek out the person(s) yet I NEVER see a cop come looking. I've spoken to higher ranking officials about it and they repeatedly give me the same song and dance about how there's a prostitution syndicate that rotates through so that they can't keep up! I don't doubt that there is an organized group but please just keep busting them! Arrest the ladies when you see them in next to nothing on the corner near our houses and when she's released and you see her again on the corner please arrest her again!! Please clean up our streets!!

This has been a problem for many years, and has increased since the motels along International were closed down because of prostitution a few years back. We pick up at least 10-20 condoms on our daily morning walks around San Antonio Park. Yes. Please clean up our streets! the sex workers are always in front of my house. I have used condoms tossed into my front yard. the street gets blocked when there are clients looking at the "merchandise". It's unsettling that it's in front of an elementary school and a church, all times of the day. I've also emailed our district 2 council member Abel Gullien and spoke with Mayor Schaff. but they are working on it...building a boarding school for the ladies...I don't have confidence that the boarding school will work. Because most of these ladies want to be in this business. I think it'll be better to legalize prostitution and tax them. Have them have an establishment instead. People are going to do it whether we like it our not. Might as well tax them instead, and take them off the street.
