Please also see SeeClickFix #7005300, assigned to Public Works as #19-11-0103 which addresses this same issue, namely that the signal phasing is too short for pedestrians to cross the entire intersection before the light changes. The shirt signal also causes vehicular back ups on Sherman, particularly during the PM commute, since only 5-6 cars at most can clear the intersection during each green light.
