Description
I noticed on my walk this morning that there were signs posted at Oakledge & Blodgett’s beaches. I then looked at the public beach near our place, at the West end of Wright Avenue and saw no warning posts of the potential water hazard. Was this an oversight?

If you are interested in monitoring the condition of the water at your beach (and you should be), the Vermont Department of Health offers a test kit and testing that is independent of the city's effort:
