Sill no action taken by DOH. Is there a way to reach out to the bank that hold the mortgage on this property and fine them for a quality of life issue? Is there such a thing?

On July 20, 2018 Sanitation Enforcement Police, Elisa Pritchard indicated Violation was issued for overgrown weeds and Informed DOH of Mosquito problems .

that’s great, but this is an ABANDONED PROPERTY. Was the violation left on the door or issued to the bank that foreclosed on said property? If the owner (the bank) is not held responsible then nothing will be done and DSNY can write tickets with no resolve.

If you folks at borough hall have a lawn mower i can borough i’d be happy to cut the weeds on the street. I don’t have anything at home that can tackle that mini forest.

just a follow up: there are plenty of tickets on the property but NO ONE LIVES THERE. The bank or whatever company that holds the mortgage needs to be aware of this issue otherwise there will be a ton of tickets and nothing will get done. this is a home that is close to 200 years old from what the previous owner has told me and it’s falling into a serious state of disrepair.
