I fully agree. A more permanent repair is needed.The granular patch material that is pounded into place is useless.

This pothole needs to be fixed again. I don't know who needs to be told about it, whether a phone call to some official from either Decatur or county of Dekalb would expedite. More and more cars are hitting the hole, traffic is slowing down to transit the hole. This section of road is in terrible shape and should be addressed. Maybe folks should be requesting tax refunds until it gets fixed?

Well they patched the hole again but the patch is already failing. They really didn't fix the hole just covered it. Maybe there are plans to do the entire road sometime in the future. We will be reporting this hole again in the near future along with others along the same section of highway and on both sides of the road in this area. There. Are some orange paint marks on the road and nearby. I'm not sure if this means anything.

Looks like they have covered the issue for a while. Two far lanes on both sides of this road in this area have a new paving. Stay tuned
