Trying to understand this - the trees were there before in the park (you just removed them!) and trees abutting park fence was not an issue. What is different now?

Thank you for reporting your concern to City of Cambridge via Commonwealth Connect. We have reviewed the information you provided our staff and will be investigating this issue further. This has been received as Service Request #1314.

Perhaps when the trees were originally installed, the trees on private property were not as big. Now the trees on private private property provide some coverage over the park in that section. No need to put in new trees that will be in competition with established trees.
