Description

Dead trees have been removed from Alden Park, and it was noted that the new trees should be planted as part of park work (see issue 4391284).

Please plant new trees in place of the removed dead ones..

Trying to understand this - the trees were there before in the park (you just removed them!) and trees abutting park fence was not an issue. What is different now?

Perhaps when the trees were originally installed, the trees on private property were not as big. Now the trees on private private property provide some coverage over the park in that section. No need to put in new trees that will be in competition with established trees.
