Thanks! This is my property and I've got some photos / videos from the storm that I can share to show the flow of the water. There's some overgrowth / piled-up-sticks in the wooded county-owned area that were blocking the intended flow of water and it was causing the water to divert through my yard instead.

Attached is a picture of the rushing water from a different angle. As you can see, there are two rushing rivers as opposed to one.

Following up on this request, could we get an engineer to come out an take a look?

Met with homeowner on 6/28. He's not sure where his property line is relative to where the drainage went through. He asked about doing some minor grading to keep drainage from roof leaders away from the shed. He also noted runoff coming from upstream properties ran through his back yard in a swale , probably built with the development. The swale was running full, but did not effect his home. I said that I would try and find info about his lot and the subdivision to see if there was anything that could be done about shifting drainage further away from his house.There appears to be a large open space area (saw a tree conservation sign) where the bulk of the drainage goes (as seen on the video)

Just reading this. First owners had major problems with flooding and from my recollection put in french drain around the house.

On 7/16/18 responded to Joseph via separate E-mail. Found the subdivision that contains his lot to be F-85-052, he is lot 47. Plat # 6302. The adjoining property belongs to Howard Rec and Parks. Suggested he contact them for possible options to the drainage path.

Contacted homeowner 7/16/18 and gave him info on his lot and advised him to contact Rec and Parks to see what can be done on their property (Open space)
