This intersection has been an issue for a while. Now that commuters can't travel 696 they've taken to 12 Mile which is busier now than I have even seen it. I've recently been stopped back in front of the Sunrise apartments and sat through 3 lights just to get across Groesbeck. We all need to leave a little earlier to get where we're going.

We have reported the issue to MDOT and the Macomb County Department of Roads who are responsible for the signals and timing. We are hopeful that we will see a correction soon.
