Description
6:00am no water. Yet our water meter is still running. How can our meter still be running if we have no water? I should received a credit. If people see this check your water meter. The meter is running slow, but we are still being charged for it.

There will be a boil water advisory after pressure is restored.

Repair of the water main was completed Wednesday evening.
The City of Saline remains under a boil water advisory due to the system-wide loss of pressure that occurred on May 16, 2018.
Sufficient pressure was restored to the system yesterday afternoon to allow testing to begin. Samples were collected at various points across the distribution system, following MDEQ requirements, and analyzed. The analysis takes 24 hours.
The first round samples showed no contamination in the distribution system.
The MDEQ requires two successive rounds of negative (good) results before a boil water advisory can be lifted. The second round of samples was collected the afternoon of May 17, 2018. The results will be released as soon as they are available.
