How was this closed with no reply about it given?

Was there any investigation into this concern? I would expect something like this in 3rd world countries but I would think the City of Saline could do a better job on something like this.

Did anyone address or look into this concern ?

Not yet that I’m aware of.

I heard this was just a temporary fix and will be redone next year.

But I see they’re in the process of tearing up everything in fromt of City Hall and redoing that area.

Any comment from city hall about this valid concern ? ?

I sent an email to Mayor Marl and got this response:

"I’ve heard back from our DPW Director –

He confirmed that the patching at Tower/Lambkins is a temporary solution, intended to buy a little time –

It is our plan to do a more significant repair to this section of road, likely during the 2022 construction season –“

I noticed they were able to add a pathway coming off Watson going to the paved trail that goes behind Brecon Park for the walkers, but cars and trucks have to drive over the poor road section at Tower and Lambkins.

Also, the new truck that picks up leaves must be broke - streets near that intersection hasn’t had leaf pickup in over a week.

Looking forward to seeing if this gets fixed this year. The city found money to redo the City Hall's parking lot and a boondoggle path from Watson over behind Brecon Park to the paved trail - I hope there's money available to fixed some of the crappy streets within the city limits.

Let’s see if anything gets done. Some of the roads with in the city needs some attention too instead of more piles of loose asphalt dumped on the holes.
