  That soundwall went up 4 or 5 years ago... I think all the truckers have the maps they just aren't using them.

  Unfortunately, whether or not that is true, it is completely irrelevant when a giant truck is trapped (sometimes they have actually attempted to drive down Portwood towards the sound wall and it is impossible for them to turn around there without going over curbs and into the Shell parking lot and/or hitting cars or houses). Pretty much everyone who parks on the street in the blocks around my house has had their car hit by a truck at least once and the confrontation today got REALLY heated. I was afraid the dude in the car was about to pull a gun...literally. And I've had to help trucks extricate themselves more times than I can count...it is just getting old.

  Seriously? Someone blocks my response to my own post? Also, "sheesh", please note that on the map used by SeeClickFix, there is no connection between Portwood and Lisbon, which is clearly incorrect. So clearly not all GPS systems have been updated. Literally, the only ones which have been have been the ones I was able to get access to and convince to make the changes. And clearly I wasn't able to get to them all...

  CLM... maybe you said something that was construed as a swear word? I have been blocked for minor transgressions like that... something I thought wasn't a big deal, but was.

  probably. but seriously...this is SUCH a frustrating situation I end up using lots of caps. I have spent literally hundreds of hours trying to fix it and hit a stone wall every time.

  Frustrating...

  On a minor note I think the Dreisbach warehouse is going to be shutting down soon... so that they can begin building 100 - 200 units. You won't have the trucks... but cars up the yin yang. It will be a mess.

  Actually I think the housing is happening in the next building over, Dreisbach is staying where it is, but they are going to move the giant trucks...I just talked to them yesterday and that's not happening till July or so. Also, I am totally fine with more housing...people need somewhere to live and cars are not the problem around here. AND...I just had to go direct another giant truck...in my pajamas, in the rain.
