Now what? Did you forward the concern to the county? It is a very dangerous crosswalk. Cars don’t stop for residents in the area walking across the street to the park. A crosswalk signal is needed before someone gets hit by a car.
This request was sent back to Pinellas County. The City of Seminole has no authority to install crosswalk signals on 102nd Avenue. You may call Pinellas County's Public Works Department at (727) 464-8900 to follow up.

I can agree with others on this issue. You can stand at this cross walk waiting to cross and no one will stop. If you step out in the crosswalk you will get hit.
Crosswalk east/west across the park opening? Or a crossing from the south side of the street? Pinellas trail has a crossing east of here and signalized intersection (school crossing as well) west of here.
I agree markings at park opening are not serviceable. Signalized crossing a whole nother issue. Traffic on 102nd already bad without crossings everywhere. Like the beaches with a crosswalk every 50 feet. Can't people walk anymore ??
The street has been paved and new crosswalk lines made, but this crosswalk still needs a crosswalk signal. Very dangerous street to cross. Pinellas trail crossing is far down the street. Too inconvenient for park goers. Please add a crosswalk signal before someone gets hit.
