I appreciate that some wood chips have been put down on the muddy areas of the dog park. However, we had to take a detour to get into the dog area because of the flooding on the sidewalk beside the playground. Here's a picture from this morning...

We have invested in extensive drainage infrastructure at Creekwood Park, but the area is located in the floodway portion of the floodplain, so heavy rain can result in this area getting inundated with water which no drainage system can prevent. We’ll continue to maintain the existing drainage system for this park as well as we can.
