The owner of this property demolished the majority of the house that was on this property but left the foundation from the porch and the concrete slab for the porch. The concrete slab that is on top of the foundation from the porch has cracked and raised up significantly.

Numerous drainage and road damage issues. Water pools on road every time it rains and typically takes several days to dissipate. These pools are mosquito, insect and algae breeding grounds in warmer months. Road is broken and severely cracked in many locations. Some of the damage areas were caused by city contractor equipment during last year's runway re-surfacing. We were told they would return and repair the damage, but never returned and we were never contacted. There is also a large drop-off at the entrance by the gate where the cement ramp meats the asphalt. Several vehicles have bottomed-out on the cement due to the height difference between the two surfaces.

  • 3609 Glendale Lane Northwest Huntsville, AL - Huntsville
We are having major erosion issues going on in the ditch located next to us. We have noticed this occurrence, going on for two years. This has caused portion of the property to wash away. This has caused our fence to shift and have openings at the bottom, along with the foundation of our workshop to be exposed, because there is no longer dirt to support either. If possible, we would like for the ditch to be concrete or closed, like we have seen with other ditches in the city. On the adjacent side of the ditch portion of it is concrete, but it is now cracked up with grass and trees growing through. Another issue is there have been several children going down into the ditch playing in the water, which is dangerous due to snakes, raccoons, and other animals that are living in the ditch. There have also been needles spotted, in the ditch. In addition, the erosion, the trees located in the ditch, is growing over our fence line. We were informed a couple of years ago, anytime a tree located in the ditch, grows over our fence line that it is the city responsibility to trim it down. However, no one comes out to trim the trees nor does maintenance in the ditch.

  • 14200 Woodcove Lane harvest, Alabama - Huntsville
At the corner of Eaglebrook and Woodcove Lane (Harvest), the new builder Hyde Homes recently cut all of the trees in the area. After they were complete they did not put in a erosion barrier. As a result when water runs the mud from that location goes down the street all down that street into Woodcove. I have spoken with the Madison Commissioner and the builder Hyde Home, but nothing still has not been done.
