Wisconsin Rapids Code Enforcement assigned this issue to Wisconsin Rapids Police Department

so has the law changed or has the PD just decided not to enforce?? Friday we had semi's on avon street so what is going on??

I think they quit enforcing it. Thursday I saw a semi slam on his brakes on baker because he decided he needed to turn south on 8th. He went to far and decided to put the vehicle in reverse to make the turn. None of these guys are noticing the massive sign they put up on 54. Maybe they should throw some flashing lights on it?

better yet, maybe they should pass out some of those 200.00 tickets. That won't happen though, all the good PD retired or moved on.

Just more proof that the city and the state care more about penalizing private citizens than they do businesses. God forbid someone doesn't mow their lawn to the correct length, but semi trucks can drive wherever and whenever they want.
