If you were worried about your lawn, why didn’t you dispose of the debris yourself?? Your waste was disposed of FREE.

by the way as a postscript, we were at the beginning of cleanup and I noticed thereafter almost all debris was picked up with little or no harm to grass underneath. If dying grass had been left in place, instead of being gouged out, it was have recovered eventually. thank you

Who ever wrote the contract for the trash and debris removal for Pinellas Park has little experience in writing contracts and specifications. The contractor was ill prepared for the job that he was paid to do. The gouge mark that "neighbor" is referring to is not the only damage left by the contractor. When you drag a bundle of tree branches and brush off the right-of-way into the street using the teeth of a clam shell it's almost physically impossible to keep from digging in to the earth. Furthermore, no one from the city should have allowed the use of steel tracked vehicles as was used during this operation. There are gouge and drag marks on almost every street. Once again, no one can to the job as well or as cheaply as in-house resources. I hope that someone in City Government is paying attention to how the city responded to this event.

You say issue of gouged lawn was resolved, however, it looks the same as when reported as an issue., Can you explain what has been done as far as finding the proper entity to handle this since that was the original question that was NEVER answered. Can you justify closing a case without a response?
