The storm of 11-2-18 brought a lot of tree damage to Fairlawn Park and some power outages. Now that Duke Energy has restored power, the next step is that residents are doing a good job of cleaning the area of debris, however, all is being piled at the curb (which is logical). I hope that the City has a plan in place to assure that pickup is made for all this debris so that it doesn't create a nesting area for animals. I hope the City will help this community in a timely manner. Thank you. .

corner house, sidewalk overgrown with grass on both streets, walking hazard, should be maintained
  • 6948 80 Terrace Pinellas Park, Florida - Pinellas Park
at the rear of this property there is a power pole with a transformer and there are vines interwined all around the transformer and although they appear dying, it make a good nesting place for animals who could interefer with the power service. I know that Duke Energy has been through here tree trimming but since this is not really a tree in technical terms I don't know if this was addressed. Rather than have an electrical outage cause by this situation, would appreciate having this addressed by city or proper utility services which may be Duke Energy. Thanks for your consideration
  • Intersection 78th Ave & 67th St Approximately Pinellas Park, Florida - Pinellas Park
The city advised in the past that this problem is handled by a contracted maintenance company but have to report it every time to get results so they don't do very well maintaining this. I refer to the median at this location which has a sign designating entering Fairlawn Park and this should be a nice reflection of the entrance to this area, however, it is ovegrown with weeds and mulch has not been changed or rejuveniated in a long time.
Rather than reflecting favorably on the area, this itself is an eyesore and should be better maintained on a yearly basis. This has been reported every summer for several years and that is the only way it ever gets attention. Thanks for your help
  • Intersection Of 66th & Park Blvd Former Walgrens Pinellas Park, Florida - Pinellas Park
See that former Walgreens is being demolished or dismantled although for sale sign still there. Since some permits must have been pulled for work being done, can someone say what is planned for this intersection? Thanks for your help as always

grass in gutters and edges of roadway over one foot tall in some places and should be sprayed and killed as it interfers with water flow in gutters to sewer, was requested twice before, nothing done so far that I can tell. It is not coming from yards in most cases, it is where grass is growing out of control in the gutter and roadway crackls. Please, lets get back to spraying and cleaning up the area. Thanks

please see report to neighbors issue of piled up debris which has been there for over a few months with others added weekly; neighborhood need to get back t having community compliance overseeing the issues so that something can be done about it.

grass in gutters has been reported twice so far this smmer with no action. this grass in some places over a foot tall, growing from cracks in roadway and gutters, not from people yards in most cases. this needs to be sprayed with weed killer as used to be the usual practice when street sweeping in years past. this impedes the flow of rainwater runoff to sewers and water backs up, promoting misquitos. please, please make some action with this issue. by the way, could not find the twice previously reported times on this site, maybe you closed and deleted but not resolved.

gutters throughout the neighborhood have grass growing in them, some at least one foot high, which definitely impedes the flow of runoff water into the sewers.....not a homeowner issue as not coming from yards, growing in cracks in roads and gutters and needs to be sprayed. Reported previously, but doesn't seem to be any better. Thank you

waste management picked up trash at this address at 9:50 am on Saturday morning and I was watching out of my window. The man picking up the can ripped off the handle and threw it in the truck as he empied the can. Maybe I could have repaired had he left the handle, but now I cant and I want reimbursement or a new can. Who can help me with this

no issue to report, rather thanks in order! What seems to be final colletion of storm debris was made in this neighborhood today and want to put forward thanks to the proper parties. It appears contractor had right equipment, labor and knowledge on how to accomplish the job with minimum damage to properties and streets in the area. It was accomplished in an organized fashion in a reasonable length of time with no mess left behind. Thanjks to the contractors for what appears to be a well done job.

Disaster debris removal, instead of scraping or lifting, gouged my lawn out when picking up debris. Fema rep was standing right there and took name and phone and said that county/city would be in touch and would sod the area and c;laim was being filed. Does any department have information on this resolution or who to contact since of course, I have heard from no one on this issue to date.

seems immediate need for debris removal from roadway/gutter before any rains because right adjacent to sewer opening and will definitely cause trouble if allowed to be carried into sewer

fema contractors cleaned piles of debris and for that we are grateful but wonder about what has happened to our streets in the process; they are filled with debris. I know we have street sweepers but this debris is all throughout all roadways not only in the gutters where the sweeper usually sweeps. Are there plans to have a large scale sweeping effort
