Here’s the other side of the closure. There is no temporary ramp.

PW: please report these contractors to the head of the Dept. They have taken nearly one year to do something that should've taken 2 weeks. They've been disrespectful, left oily dirt and construction rubble continuously on the newly paved streets parking spaces after they disappear for days or weeks. You're going to need to repaint the streets when they're done, the oily dirt has darkened all the white lines so they're now dark gray or not visible at all. Their bulldozer dumps piles of concrete chunks on the sidewalk encroaching over onto people's landscaping. They left a port-a-potty on someone's private parking lot for several months. Also, they extended the curb where Adeline crosses Market but they left the sidewalk-pole Market side street light facing south, in its original position, back quite a ways from where the intersection now is. It needs to be moved about 15' forward. They should've been finished with this job last year. They're not only still not done, they have overlooked basic public safety provisions.

Mismanagement of projects like this is why people lose faith in their civic government.
The leadership overseeing this project should be ashamed for their inadequate efforts.
