A couple of weeks ago Verizon workers came & removed two telephone poles that were no longer being used after the hotel construction and infrastructure updates. On the 1st pole at 67 Commercial St - they removed the 'no parking' sign as well as the 'one way' sign from the pole they removed. At the second pole across from 2 Fort Sq on hotel side - they removed the 'no parking' sign off of the pole & left the hole from the telephone pole open in the street as well as the metal rod sticking up two feet out of the sidewalk also no longer being used by the pole it was attached to. So the two no parking signs need to be replaced as well as the one way sign, and the hole patched in the road & metal rod removed so no one trips over it in the middle of the sidewalk. Not sure if Verizon communicated this to the City or not.
