The issue you reported has been investigated by a Sr. Operations Field Coordinator and was assigned a priority classification based upon the specific conditions of the situation.   The SeeClickFix is being closed but the Work Request will remain open until work is completed. Work is prioritized based on the condition of the components measured during the inspection, condition of the surrounding infrastructure, potential for collateral damage, location and proximity of other projects. These items are grouped by the type of work to be done and its benefit for the community or specific location. While this issue has been deemed to not pose an immediate risk for personal injury, private property damage, or environmental loss, it was verified that work needs to be scheduled.  Using this methodology, work can be planned more efficiently leading to improved planning, scheduling, and maintenance of the County’s stormwater system. 2/3 of the work was done but 1/3 remains. No work was done and the area looked untouched near the 13th Ave opening/crossing. The standing algae water remains stagnant and is still attracting bugs. Basically the debris/culverts just need to be cleaned out just as the others were going south on the trail before 9th Ave.

The issue is not resolved. In fact it has only gotten worse since Irma. Initially the workers completed 2/3 of the task; however, they did NOT clean up the culvert at the 13th Ave crossing. It is now worse and the debris is holding up the mosquito infested stale water. Also, since the hurricane, it seems that tree trimming was performed along the trail. However, there was no CLEANUP of said tree trimming. The trimmed branches are now just pushed down into the ditches only to recreate the very issue of this post.
