Southbound Telegraph Avenue at West MacArthur, the left turn signal does not detect bicycles waiting to turn from Telegraph onto eastbound W MacArthur. Just now around 2:30pm today I sat and waited right on top of the bicycle detector stencil in the left turn lane through two whole signal phases in broad daylight and never got a green left turn arrow until after a driver pulled up behind me on the third signal phase. This is a very important crossing of two different bikeways, and the signal needs to work in all directions at all times. If 100% bicycle detection is not possible here then the actuation should be turned off, and the signal put on a timed phase instead.
