Description
I am not sure what issue was trying to be resolved at the intersections by Nikki's Restaurant, but the results of the changes seem much worse than any traffic problems that previously existed.

So, it sounds like the cycles of the light seems to be delayed and is causing traffic back up. Is this due to the light near Nikko's or is the light at Park and Blanding causing the back ups? Or is there an increase in congestion getting into Alameda that is causing additional traffic and back ups?
Leaving a vague comment that the light doesn't work or is causing back-ups is not going to lead to much resolution.
Do you see the traffic backed up past E 7th St due to the cycle of the light being too long?
Is the light difficult to see and pedestrians are in danger?
The intersection was narrowed to one lane, which will increase traffic back up, but it is not likely the city will widen that intersection any time soon.
