You are wasting your time reporting this, the Town does nothing. The laws are in place and not enforced.

I don't think there are any laws to limit what the hotel does, unfortunately.

The Town needs to be ready to inforce the new Ordinance ASAP... We are all waiting to see the latest revision, which needs to be appear on the website ASAP. The Town needs to stop dragging its feet and make a firm decision in the sand! This process has been going on for over two years. We need Commissioners and a Town Manager that stop spending our time & money talking without action!

The Law was supposed to be that only hotels on the East side of Collins could have chairs in the sand. There has been so much flip flop going on so the Town residents lose interest and they can do whatever they want. Town appointed a Beach committee for what?

It's so sad how this town has changed in the last 3 years...
Dirty, hotels chairs and their trash...on the beach, plenty of cigarettes ...
and home taxes increase a lot , I am paying $800 more than last year monthly

You are right Surfsidelover.... And, I think the growth of Surfside is getting out of control in several aspects. It seems that the Town Hall management is not fit to deal with large hotel chains.

This matter will be addressed by the Town Commission at their June 13th meeting.

Why is the Town prolonging this issue? They go after and fine small violations in homes and condos.

It would be nice in this time of divisiveness if all colors of chairs could get along
