Description
This is the west loop. Three deer have been hit in the last year with the increasing speed of traffic along the road. This is a known deer path. Resident Ric Mcollough has cleaned up the road several times. He believes signage is in order, but the determination is really up to the City. He isn't forming a complaint, just thought he would notify the City of the issue.

The City has no designated deer crossings YET -- but would you agree that someone who lives in the area (as opposed to you, who likely doesn't), who has seen many, many deer crossing in a certain area is able to identify a popular crossing area? I think you would agree the people mentioned above have knowledge you don't have... and can therefore determine a popular deer crossing area. You should take their word on it.
This is a case of trusting the community to supply you with intel you are not gathering. I would like to see the City step up and acknowledge the community's expertise in this area and work with them to designate it. Thank you.
