From what I understand, Scout Park belongs to the city up to the lagoon. The Alameda Lagoon Homeowners Association is responsible for the lagoon. Somebody has been responsible for maintaining the lagoon for what 30-40 years, maybe longer. I personally have called Public Works in the past to report issues. Perhaps, you can start there.

I have worked for Parks since 1995 and it has never been ours. I will send a Park employee out to clean it up today since it is a poor reflexion for the City... I will dig deeper and pass on a contact number as soon as I find out who is responsible. Always feel free to contact us if you see an issue that need attention in the City.

Do what I did one year took the garbage and brought it in the mayor's office , ever since they are picking it up , you have to understand some and I do say some leave in their own world and more and more do not leave in Alameda so they really do not care they are here for the padded paycheck and benefit , or simply dump it in front of their offices , leave a sign please pick up the trash we are paying you for it.

The Scout Park in under contract with Pacheco Landscape to address the venue monthly. To address the liter concern the new RFB will require site maintenance every other week and continued monitoring weekly to prevent liter overflow, thank you for your patience on the matter.
