Descrição

There is no sidewalk on the west side of 1st between Miller and Kingsley, and the sidewalk on the east side has been closed for construction. This forces pedestrians into the street, which is not safe here because of the high speeds and limited visibility. Please provide some place for people to walk safely on this block.

As someone who walks this stretch daily, and with construction related vehicles typically parked on both sides of the street making it even more harrowing, I would appreciate any attention to this matter.

A lot of issues from this summer and earlier are suddenly being closed without explanation. Has anything been done about this issue? Or is one of the people who sign in under the Ann Arbor Admin account just closing a bunch of issues that they've ignored since the summer? If something has been done, please explain what. Otherwise, stop closing issues that have not been resolved.

I just went by there last week, and this had not been fixed. I understand that City staff wishes this issue would just go away, but it's not going to unless you actually do something about it. Closing the issue does not fix the problem.

By the way, please remove the phrase "Your request is important to us" from your canned response. It obviously isn't.
